The 2007 edition of LeWeb3 Dec 11/12

The 2007 LeWeb3 will take place at   Les   Docks, a Paris conference center looking like a campus and surrounded by   TV & movie production studios with several buildings that we will   use  according to the  final number of participants. This year we   expect a minimum of 1000 participants, like last year, and up to 2000.

The setup will ideally be spread on three main buildings, based on the   feedback of last year participants, we will increase the startup area as well   as the networking area which should have their own rooms. The conference will   be spread on a keynote room (up to 1000 people), a startup room (up to 500   people) and a networking room (up to 500 people). The 11th evening party will   take place at the same venue, with a party setup.

The venue  looks like a small campus, 5 minutes away from the Paris   peripheric road. Bus and car transportation services from central Paris (10-15   minutes away) will be organized budget permitting.

Program

We are building the program based on the recommendations and suggestions from   last year's participants and also the   facebook   LeWeb3 group that anybody may join. At the moment we are still in the   listening phase, gathering input from our audience and advisory baord to start   building the program. This year we intend to branch out beyond just technology   and expand our content to explore entrepreneurship and innovation in other   areas.

Likely or already confirmed speakers this year:

  Philippe Starck
  Esther Dyson
  Joi Ito
  Om Malik
